Em dash

A long dash (—) used in French for literary asides.

The em dash (U+2014) is a long dash. In French it marks literary asides and introduces dialogue. Used outside a literary context, it often gives away the Anglo-American AI tool, which produces it by default. Rephrase removes it automatically, except in literary presets.
